What to Do if Hacked/Scammed

First of all I would like to introduce myself and thank Jenna for the wonderful opportunity of allowing me to be a writer for the writer's competition. My name is Brooke, and my Stardoll username is Chicago3. I hope all readers enjoy my posts, and I encourage comments, positive or negative, to tell me what you think.

Many people on Stardoll have been scammed or hacked, whether it was once or a thousand times. Many people do not know what to do in this situation, so I would like to adress a way to handle situation effectively. Also, I have uploaded pictures so you can see what exactly to do(Click on the picture to get a bigger image):

1. First, check your email by clicking My Account(Picture 1). You will then be directed to a page that lists your user ID number(Picture 2). Record this so if you are hacked you can contact stardoll, and it will be easier for them to retrieve your account.

2. Press the Account Settings on the page that lists your ID number(Picture 2). This will direct you to a page where you can change your passoword, e-mail, and more if you have been hacked or feel unsafe having the same information(Picture 3).

3. If you have been scammed, repeat step number 1, but instead of going to account settings, go to Transaction History. Here you can see when an items was sold or bought, which date, and for how much.(Picture 4).

4. Email Stardoll and explain what happened, and if you can, provide ID number, when this happened, what was sold/scammed/hacked, and so on.

5.Be patient for an answer, and never give out a password, ID number, or and private information!
